Having spent two years cutting his teeth producing high profile CGI projects as well as building an international client base, Ewan came back to London to establish Golden Square Post, with ex colleagues from MPC as Marketing Director, turning over £3 million in the first year alone.
He also founded Disqo, a pioneering digital production company providing vfx expertise to the digital community and digital expertise to the traditional creative agencies.
In 2012, Ewan was approached to head up the Publicis Network in-house post facility, Prodigious. Tasked with putting the right team together and improving its credibility and reputation within the group network. He worked closely with the Group Heads of TV, and raised the profile and reputation of Prodigious, putting them firmly on the London map.
Ewan has recently worked directly with Heineken and PepsiCo, reviewing and advising them on their global post strategy.
Sam began his career in advertising production in 1999 with Mad Cow Films, moving quickly into broadcast post-production where he worked as a producer and editor on commissions for the BBC and Channel 4. With experience of working at both agencies such as, CHI, Red Brick Road, and Mother; and post facilities such as Smoke and Mirrors, Sam has acquired a unique set of skills and experience that will be of huge benefit to ewanme.
Most recently Sam headed up and ran the in-house production facility at Mullen Lowe, working with some of the best post talent available in the freelance market.
Head of Operations
Rak comes from a commercial VFX post-production background, having worked with Ewan at Golden Square and then in Operational roles at UNIT and Electric Theatre Company.
Having gained experience within the Adtech sector at Adstream as National Account Director, he worked closely with many large agencies, brand and content production clients.
His strong understanding of the needs of those in the creative industry gives him the perfect set of experience and skills required, for Ewanme’s unique brand of virtual post-production services.
Mick has worked in production services since he moved to London in 1995 and was approached by PMC Pictures, ultimately heading up PMC’s UK office as the Executive Producer. In 2005 he started his own company, Wakyo Productions, servicing his Japanese clients in Europe.
Mick seamlessly manages the complete process for clients, for those with big or small budgets. With creative production research as his starting point, he marries high-end, high-quality creative solutions with coordination for every aspect of film making from shooting to post-production and sound design.
With a passion for Editing and VFX, Mick has sought out the worlds’ leading post-production artists for his clients, including some of the biggest Japanese advertising agencies and production companies.
Mick and Ewan have been working together on and off for over fifteen years both in the UK and Japan. With Mick’ extensive contacts with Japanese Agencies and Production Co’s looking for a more cost-effective, agile approach to creating high-quality video content; launching ewanme to this exciting market provides the unique solution.
